Adopt a Mountain Cur (short coat)

Mountain Cur (short coat) Dog

Sprout the Dog needs a home

Sprout is a 3 year old brindle Mountain Cur mix who weighs about 45 pounds. She has had some training in basic obedience. Sprout is doing very well with house training and is a quick learner. She is an incredibly sweet dog who absolutely loves people. She has had a rough start to life and hasn’t fully learned how to be a dog yet. She loves her foster sisters, but does have some dominance issues with other alpha dogs. She would do best in a one dog household that is cat free. She does great with cats and loves children.

If you are interested in adopting Sprout please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
